We are looking for a creative and experienced professional to strengthen our team at Karl Ludwig Projektentwicklungsgesellschaft mbH.

Our core business is the development of new build and urban infill projects, with a strong focus on the residential sector. A growing part of our work is centred on existing buildings and their continued development. In this role, you will contribute your expertise in working with existing assets and support our projects from the initial analysis through to implementation.

What you will do

• Analyse, assess and further develop existing properties with regard to change of use, modernisation and urban infill potential 
• Plan and support refurbishment and conversion measures across all relevant HOAI service phases 
• Prepare concept and planning permission documentation, taking into account the existing building fabric and applicable planning and building regulations 
• Coordinate and liaise with authorities, specialist planners and external service providers 
• Support planning consent processes and help ensure quality during the delivery phase

What you will bring

• A degree in Architecture or a comparable qualification 
• Between three and five years of professional experience, ideally in refurbishment, redevelopment or conversion projects involving existing buildings 
• Sound knowledge of the relevant HOAI service phases and German building regulations 
• Confident use of 2D and 3D CAD software 
• A structured and independent way of working, with a clear view of the bigger picture 
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team 
• Excellent German language skills, with English considered an advantage
